Who we are

 

  • g-Enesis stands for group of Energy studies initiative by SUS+. Our club is so named as genesis means creation and energy is input and output to any creation and decreation respectively.

 

  • g-Enesis Energy Club consists of graduate, undergraduate and post-graduate students; alumni and faculties of the University of Tokyo.

 

Objectives

 

  • g-Enesis aims at serving as a link between students, scientists, entrepreneurs, corporate personnel, and policy makers.

 

  • g-Enesis endeavors to tackle energy issues from multi- and inter-disciplinary perspectives with a view to studying the technical, political, economical and social aspects of energy.  

 

Activities

 

  • g-Enesis organizes and participates in energy-related study sessions, study tours, field trips, projects and competitions, and various other fun activities.

 

 

Organization

 

  • g-Enesis is one of the working groups in SUS+ AGS UTSC (The Alliance for Global Sustainability, the University of Tokyo Student Community).

 

  • g-Enesis operates under the auspices of the University of Tokyo AGS. The Alliance for Global Sustainability, AGS, is a partnership of four scientific and technological universities – the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), The University of Tokyo, Chalmers University of Technology, and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ), and their associated partners.

 

 

  • g-Enesis is strongly networked with various university-level local and foreign energy clubs.
